Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time MRI Technologist to join our Imaging department. The role involves performing MRI exams under physician direction for patients of all ages, with emphasis on patient-centered care and teamwork within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining expert MRI equipment knowledge, working with students and staff, and delivering compassionate, high-quality imaging services with independent judgment and initiative.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a MRI Technologist you will perform, and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Imaging department. • Under the direction of a physician, you will perform MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) examination to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician using advanced technical knowledge.
• You will be expected to perform all responsibilities with minimal supervision, and the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.
• You will be responsible for advanced knowledge of the complexities of MRI equipment, examinations and working with students, staff teaching MRI technology.
• You will be responsible for the assessment; treatment/care for all patients, which includes ability to interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs and understanding of the range of treatment needed.

What qualifications you will need:
