Job summary

Trinity Health's St Mary's Health Care System in Kentucky is seeking an MRI Technologist, PRN, for the Radiology Department at St Mary's Hospital. This role supports patient care and operates imaging equipment in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The position requires ARRT MR registration or registry-eligible status, current BLS through the American Heart Association, AMA-Approved radiographic technology education, and about one year of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• One year hospital experience preferred.

Position Purpose:

MRI Technologist, PRN - in the Radiology Department at St Mary's Hospital.

What you will do:

• Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI.
• direct patient flow through the department,
• greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.

What you will need:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration : registered or registry eligible with ARRT (MR)
• Must have current BLS thru American Heart Association.
• Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
• Experience: One year experience in hospital environment preferred and to demonstrate Radiological technology competence
