Millennium Physician Group is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist for Florida offices in Fort Myers and Cape Coral. The role requires performing MRI exams, safety screenings, and contrast administration in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure high-quality images, document procedures, and support radiology staff. The candidate should hold an Associate's degree in radiologic technology with Florida licensure (RT(R) or MR) and have familiarity with PACS, eRad, and Athena Clinicals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology or equivalent.
• Active Florida Radiologic Technology license or eligible; RT(R) or MR certification/credential.
• Experience preferred but not required; strong safety and documentation practices.

Responsabilités

• Perform MRI procedures across routine to moderately complex exams.
• Conduct MRI safety screening and address implant/device concerns before scanning.
• Evaluate image quality and adjust parameters to ensure diagnostic adequacy.
• Administer MRI contrast agents per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain QA checks and document results per ACR and organizational standards.
• Document procedures in EHR and communicate findings to care team.
• Mentor entry-level technologists on MRI protocols and safety.

Job Description SummaryHours & Location:This position is PRN or per diem, working hours or shifts as needed!!No weekends or major holidays!Covering offices in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, FLThe MRI Technologist must hold all certifications and licenses related to their scope of practice. S/he must be able to handle a high volume, fast paced environment with a pleasant disposition. S/he must be responsible for maintaining all quality control records, ACR accreditation forms and daily logs for modality specific areas. S/he must be proficient in the use of computer software, ie: PACS, eRad, and Athena Clinicals and Communicator. S/he must obtain a detailed history on every exam performed in their specific modality for presentation to the Radiologist. S/he must be able to schedule all special procedures and biopsies daily as needed. S/he must follow all safety protocol to ensure safety of patients and equipment.
