Job summary

Rock Health in Athens, GA is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under supervision, following prescribed standards. You will image anatomy and physiology with MRI, ensuring patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality results across all ages.

Required qualifications include AMA-approved or JRCERT-accredited training and ARRT radiography registration with BLS; MRI experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

  • BLS certification is required.
  • Preferred: MRI technologist experience (6 months); entry-level considered.

Job description

Join our team as an MRI Technologist and contribute to accurate patient diagnoses through advanced imaging techniques.

Responsibilities Include
  • Performing diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations following prescribed standards under supervision.
  • Utilizing the resonant frequency properties of atoms within magnetic fields to image anatomical and physiological conditions.
  • Providing compassionate patient care across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Preferred: at least 6 months of MRI technologist experience; no prior experience required.
