Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform and document daily QC checks, stay current with MR safety standards, and administer IV contrast when appropriate. You will review patient history, ensure exam quality, and educate patients on MRI procedures and safety.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, maintaining EMR/PACS documentation, and contributing to a safe learning culture through ongoing education and adherence to department protocols.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; preferred further education.
• AR or MR safety knowledge and CPR certification required.
• Experience with MRI procedures and safety protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents QC checks in compliance with policies.
• Operates MRI equipment and ensures image quality and safety.
• Educates patients about MRI procedures and safety.
• Maintains EMR and PACS documentation accurately.
• Reviews patient history to confirm exam appropriateness.
