Job summary

University of Kansas Health System Center for Diagnostic Imaging seeks an MRI Technologist to produce high-quality MR images while prioritizing patient safety. The role involves multi-site procedures and adherence to all MR safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technology AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or MR Imaging is required.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT MRI certification within 180 days is required.
• BLS (AHA) on hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology and MR technique.
• Prepare patients and attend to patient needs during procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, IV access, and administer medications as prescribed.
