Job summary

Tower Health’s Reading Hospital is seeking an MR Technologist to perform MRI procedures, ensure accurate positioning, and follow established protocols to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician.

You will prepare and administer contrast under the radiologist’s direction, provide safe patient care across infant to adult populations, and apply professional judgment with compassionate communication. Ongoing education and teamwork are essential in our inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• Post High School Diploma Program
• Relevant Experience
• BLS Certification
• RT (R) OR RT (MR) OR ARMRIT

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MR safety and terminology.
• Maintains high accuracy in positioning and technique.
• Performs MRI procedures per protocols to obtain diagnostic information.
• Prepares and administers contrast under radiologist direction.
• Ensures safe patient care for infant through adult patients.
• Communicates with patients with empathy and non-discrimination.
