Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality. You will prepare patients, select appropriate protocols, and obtain high-quality images while following all safety and infection control standards.

The role requires ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, completion of an accredited MRI program, and BLS. You will collaborate with radiologists and care teams in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Accredited Medical Technology program completed.
• ARMRIT or ARRT-MR MRI certification required on hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Verify patient identity and prepare for procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control.
• Communicate with physicians and patients.
• Assist with contrast administration as applicable.
• Maintain equipment and document procedures in PACS/RIS.
