Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network seeks an MRI Technologist to ensure technical continuity of care for patients undergoing MRI studies. You will communicate findings to radiologists and support QA/PI activities within Radiology.

The ideal candidate has ARRT eligibility or registration, an MRI registry within 1 year, and 1–2 years of MRI experience, with CPR certification and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT registered, or ARRT registry eligible.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Two (2) years experience as a staff technologist preferred.
• 1-year experience as an MRI technologist preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• History of computer usage experience required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful technical continuity of care for patients receiving MRI studies.
• Communicates to radiologists clinical observations made during MRI examination.
• Assists in gathering, recording data and serving as committee member for Radiology Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement program.
• Accurately adheres to downtime procedures to assure appropriate information is available resulting in excellent continuity of care for patients.
• Provides educational information to the patient regarding their examination.
• Accountable for quality of digital images sent to PACS.
