Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a skilled MRI technologist to ensure technical continuity of care for MRI studies. You will communicate clinical observations to radiologists, perform venipuncture for contrast, and verify patient data in PACS to maintain image quality and accuracy.

The role requires ARRT-recognized training, Advanced MRI registry within 1 year, and CPR certification, with preferred two years as staff technologist and one year MRI-specific experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT registry eligible.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Two (2) years experience as a staff technologist preferred.
• 1-year experience as an MRI technologist preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful technical continuity of care for patients receiving MRI studies.
• Communicates to radiologists clinical observations made during MRI examination.
• Demonstrates competency in venipuncture for contrast administration during MRI studies.
• Maintains responsibility for quality of digital images and accurate patient data in PACS.
• Reviews patient safety checklist prior to the patient's study.
• Provides educational information to the patient regarding their examination.
