Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or related field.
• State licensure is required.
• Proven experience as an X-ray/MRI technician.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Position patients and ensure safety during MR scans.
• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedures.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Perform radiological procedures when not performing MRI.
• Evaluate MR images for quality and proper labeling.
• Schedule patients and maintain records.
• Provide education and training to new-hire technologists.
• Coordinate patient flow and scheduling.
