Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for the Mount Pleasant, WI facility. The role supports musculoskeletal, neurological, and body imaging, performing scans and safety protocols under the Radiologist’s supervision.

Requirements include ARRT RT and MRI certifications within defined timelines, two years MRI experience, and strong patient care, communication, and technical skills. Part-time schedule with two shifts monthly and competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years MRI experience.
• ARRT RT registration and MRI certification requirements to be obtained within specified timelines.
• BLS certification within 6 months unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Operates MR equipment for basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures including musculoskeletal, neurological, body imaging and extremities.
• Obtains patient history, verifies orders, and administers contrast media under Radiologist direction.
• Positions patient, selects scanning factors, and ensures image quality and patient safety.
• Post-processes images and correctly labels studies with patient identifiers.
• Maintains records in radiology information system and documents billing codes.
