Qualifications

• ARRT certification in MRI or Radiologic Technology, with Florida licensure as required.
• Operates MRI equipment safely and follows imaging protocols.
• Foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology as they relate to MRI.
• Provides empathetic patient care and explains procedures clearly to patients.
• Adheres to MRI safety standards, infection control, HIPAA and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations.
• Explain procedures and verify patient information; obtain orders.
• Operate MRI scanner and monitor patient safety and comfort throughout exams.
