Job summary

SCA Health is seeking an MRI technician to join their team in Erlanger, Kentucky. The position involves performing MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining room cleanliness. Candidates must be ARRT certified and are expected to demonstrate sound judgment and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT certified.

Responsibilities

• Attend department, clinic or company meetings as required.
• Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns.
• Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members.
• Consistently demonstrate attention to detail in documentation, recording, and patient information.
• Perform MRI scans.
• Screen patients and educate them.
• Ensure all forms and orders are complete.
• Obtain medical history.
• Inject contrast materials.
• Print films for MD’s and Radiologists.
• Log all patients/scans/copies/readings.
• Maintain room cleanliness.
• Interact with MD’s and radiologists to ensure correct exams are completed.
• Perform calibration and/or routine maintenance of scanner and processor.
• Assist with front desk duties as needed.
