Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or MRI certificate from an accredited program.
• MRI experience not required but preferred.
• ARMRIT or ARRT MRI certification within 1 year of hire; CPR certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Executes MRI imaging procedures across locations and patient types.
• Selects appropriate technical factors and prepares patients for scanning.
• Ensures MR safety and proper patient positioning to reduce artifacts.
• Maintains supplies and reports equipment issues per policy.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with patients, families and care team.
• Distributes final images to PACS for interpretation.
