Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a team delivering individualized care and high-quality imaging. You will work directly with patients, ensure safety around the magnet, obtain diagnostic MRI images, and support radiologists with accurate histories and exams.

The role requires a graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program with ARRT MR and BLS certifications. One year of MRI experience is preferred, with familiarity in GE MRI systems a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT MR certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1+ year MRI technologist experience preferred; GE MRI familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of MRI images.
• Adapt to patient abilities and limitations to obtain required images.
• Screen patients for safety hazards prior to the exam; obtain relevant medical histories and explain the exam.
• Maintain stock and supplies for the department.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
