Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and record patient history and reason for exam; tailor examination to patient needs; review labs when contrast used.
• Transport patients safely and prepare them for examination; assist with venipuncture for contrast media.
• Operate MRI equipment, select appropriate factors, ensure safety for patients and staff.
• Demonstrate anatomy requested and follow department protocols; manage contrast reactions knowledgeably.
• Prepare completed images for reading by interpreting physician; use required software applications.
• Take department call as assigned.
• Pursue ongoing education and stay current with technology and procedures.
• Follow policies to provide excellent service and maintain quality patient care.
