Job summary

SimonMed in Phoenix, AZ seeks an MRI Technologist to produce high-resolution diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will operate MRI scanners, select imaging sequences per physician orders, and verify image quality before radiologist review.

You will uphold MRI safety standards, monitor patients, manage contrast administration, and maintain clean documentation in PACS. A strong communicator, you mentor staff when needed and contribute to a collaborative, high-standard

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• Hands‑on CPR/BLS certified and current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images per physician orders.
• Maintain MRI safety as a priority for every patient, every scan, every shift.
• Document patient data and imaging results accurately in PACS and imaging systems.
• Manage own workflow, perform routine quality control checks, and adapt protocols as needed.
• Provide compassionate care and clear explanations to patients and families.
