Job summary

Westerly Hospital in Rhode Island seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will perform MRI procedures under the supervision of the MRI Supervisor and radiologists, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of MRI experience, ARRT registration or eligibility, and CPR (BLS). You will contribute to safe patient care and department operations in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registration by the ARRT or ARRT registry eligible; must obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum of one year MRI experience required.
• CPR certification (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• MRI Competency for each Procedure
• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic accurate examinations.
• Time Management—works timely, efficiently, independently and completes all tasks.
• Equipment Competencies—maintains safe functioning, operation, and cleanliness of MRI equipment and coils.
• Patient Competencies—assumes responsibility for the safety and well-being of all patients.
• Contrast Injection Competencies—demonstrates knowledge of techniques and protective equipment for injections.
