Job summary

JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX is seeking MRI Technologists I–IV to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will position patients, administer IV contrast per policy, and perform routine quality control while ensuring safety and compliance across procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology or ACR approved training course.
• Certified by the ARRT in MRI or ARMRIT; must obtain within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification, AHA/ARC, by first day of employment is required.
• MRI Technologist I: 0–1.99 years of experience in medical imaging.
• MRI Technologist II–IV: experience scales with level (2–4.99, 5–9.99, 10+ years).

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures as ordered and obtains images according to written protocols.
• Positions patients using immobilization and protective equipment as directed by the provider.
• Organizes steps in established procedures; reviews and evaluates images for quality; includes post-processing at remote workstations.
• Screens and interviews each patient using designated MRI Patient Clinical Assessment Form.
• Administers IV contrast with proper dosage and documents in permanent record.
• Performs quality control on equipment and reports issues to Bio-Med or Manager.
