Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for adult and pediatric patients, including MRI and advanced modalities. You will prepare patients and equipment, conduct studies independently, and respond to on-call and portable exam requests.

The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate imaging, and ongoing maintenance of equipment, with opportunities for cross-training and professional growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school certification is required.
• No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; IEMA for Illinois (excluding MRI).
• CPR and IV therapy certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and quality control standards.
• Cross-training in MRI if registered as R.T.(R).
