Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist to join our team. You will operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, explain procedures to patients, and ensure safety and high-quality imaging.

The role requires independence in performing MRI procedures and compliance with RIS and protocol standards. The position is per diem, with weekend and evening shifts, offering DailyPay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Must be able to perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images per physician orders.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them for optimal imaging.
• Maintain safety, patient records, and RIS data per standards.
• Keep MRI area clean, sanitize equipment, and monitor supplies.
• Assist with protocol updates and staff training as needed.
