Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist for a part-time role, primarily Saturdays and Sundays 8a-8p. You will operate MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and proper documentation in RIS.

Responsibilities include patient prep, explaining procedures, parameter adjustments, and collaboration with the radiology team. CPR, state license, and imaging certification required; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have training and experience to perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam and verify identity.
• Explain MRI procedure and position patient for scanning.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed.
• Follow physicians' orders, ensure safety, and maintain RIS records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and equipment.
• Ensure equipment is disinfected after use and up to standards.
