Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist for per diem shifts to operate MRI scanners and produce diagnostic images. You will screen patients, prepare and position them, explain the procedure, and follow safety and documentation standards while supporting the radiology team.

The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT credentials, state licensure if applicable, CPR certification, and independent MRI proficiency. Per diem schedule and flexible shifts are available, with a patient-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business need.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Screen patients for exam safety and prepare them for procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them for optimal imaging.
• Adjust MRI parameters and follow physician orders while maintaining records in RIS.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and equipment; support the team as needed.
