Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program or equivalent.
• Must maintain ARRT certification with CE credits as required.
• Experience operating MRI systems and handling contrast administration.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patients, verifies identity, obtains history, and ensures patient safety.
• Operates MRI scanners, adjusts protocols, and monitors safety and image quality.
• Administers IV/oral contrast per protocol and assesses eligibility.
• Transfers images to PACS/EPIC/UNCH EMR and verifies orders.
• Precepts new staff and documents incidents for quality improvement.
