Job summary

The MRI Technologist at UCI Health performs the full range of basic and advanced level procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The technologist acts as resources to others as needed, and is required to be on-call basis and work varied shifts as assigned.

The role may be assigned to ambulatory clinics and requires Advanced Specialty Certification or graduation from an accredited MRI program, with certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays and overtime as assigned.
• Must be able to participate in on call rotation and work occasional weekends & evenings.
• May be assigned to work in ambulatory clinics.
• Advanced Specialty Certification OR Graduate from an accredited school of MRI—must obtain Advanced Specialty certification within 6 months of hire date.
