Job summary

The MRI Technologist at UCI Health performs the full range of basic and advanced MRI procedures and serves as a resource to colleagues. The role requires on-call duties and varied shifts, including weekends, with flexibility to accommodate operations.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited MRI program or hold Advanced Specialty certification and obtain it within six months. ARRT certification is preferred and licensure requirements include Venipuncture and Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited MRI program or possess Advanced Specialty Certification.
• Must obtain Advanced Specialty certification within 6 months of hire.
• ARRT license/certification within six months from date of hire.
• Venipuncture Certificate and Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of basic and advanced MRI procedures.
• Act as a resource to others and participate in on-call rotation.
• Work varied shifts including weekends as assigned.
