Virtua Health in Mount Holly is seeking an MRI Technologist for per diem, part-time on-site shifts. You will perform MRI procedures per Radiologist protocols, ensure safety, and deliver compassionate patient care. Requirements include ARRT MR certification with MR experience and CPR.

Per diem position includes a $500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits for eligible staff. You will join a supportive radiology team at Mount Holly and Willingboro locations, with on-site shifts and a focus on

Summary

Performs MRI procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards. Operates MRI equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following appropriate safety guidelines.

Position Responsibilities

• Consistently performs high quality MRI studies according to protocols established by the Radiologists. Films all MRI exams utilizing proper window and level. Follows protocol for room set-up, obtains patient assessment form and injection procedures. Demonstrates competence to perform venipuncture and follows established protocols for administering contrast medium.
• Verify order and patient identification before performing MRI exam. Screen all patients for medical appropriateness of MRI procedure as well as for potential projectiles before entrance into the exam room. Patient assessment form must be completed and validated before patient enters MRI room.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and personnel. Must be able to effectively communicate with all customers; display high degree of tact and diplomacy and maintain supportive relationships.
• Follows appropriate safety guidelines during operation of MRI equipment. Adheres to Virtua policies and procedures.

Position Qualifications

Required / Experience Required: Previous MRI experience preferred. Required Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology Training/Certifications/Licensure: Certification as either American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered plus six (6) months supervised experience in MR scanning, OR Associate’s/bachelor’s degree in allied health field plus other imaging modality certification plus six (6) months supervised MR scanning, OR ARMRIT or CAMRT as a Registered MR Technologist – for employees in the role prior to 8/30/26 MRI board certification preferred CPR certification required.

Salary & Working Conditions

Hourly Rate: $53.00
