Job summary

Azkrmc in Kingman, AZ, is seeking an MRI Technologist for per diem coverage in the Imaging department. Under Radiologist supervision, you will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and document exam times and reactions.

The role requires ARRT MRI Certification (MR) or ARMRIT, BLS, and the ability to position patients and select shielding to optimize image quality. Per diem shifts: minimum six within six weeks, up to 19 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program or MRI Program Accredited through ARRT or ARMRIT.
• Experience: On the job training with outside didactic education.
• Certification: BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Under Radiologist direction, position patient and perform MRI procedures.
• Use professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures for quality diagnostics.
• Review data and assess patient abilities to select appropriate care plan.
• Evaluate shielding and immobilization devices to optimize exams.
• Monitor patient and equipment during procedures and document times and reactions.
