Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams under Radiologist supervision. You will position patients, adjust protocols, and ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety in a fast-paced imaging department.

The role supports the imaging team in delivering accurate results, assessing contraindications, and coordinating with care teams to optimize study outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Radiologist, anatomically positions the patient and performs imaging procedures utilizing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
• Uses professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes.
• After reviewing all pertinent data and assessing the patient’s abilities and condition, selects the most appropriate patient care plan.
• Selects appropriate shielding devices and immobilization devices.
• Evaluates lab values prior to administering contrast media.
• Assesses factors that may contraindicate the procedure, such as medications or insufficient patient preparation.
