Job summary

Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and producing high-quality images for interpretation. Requires ARRT MRI certification and CPR, with ARRT radiology registration and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration in Radiology and MRI certification within 18 months of hire.
• CPR certification required.
• Maintains ARRT continuing education hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and related imaging procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment and ensures patient safety.
• Applies magnetic safety principles during MRI procedures.
• Ensures proper patient identification and documentation.
• Participates in department quality assurance and on-call program.
