Job summary

Women & Infants Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to interpret physician orders and perform diagnostic radiography and MRI scans with expertise in equipment usage. You will assist in transport and support activities while aiding accreditation efforts with the ACR and state licensing requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
• Prepares reports and documentation as required or directed.
• Transports patients to MRI area and assists during MRI process.
• Maintains equipment and work areas.
• Preserves and protects patient rights to confidentiality.
• Performs other related duties in support of department activities.

Requirements

• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) as an MR Technologist (RTMR), have appropriate state licensure and have six months of supervised clinical MRI scanning experience. Credentialed as an MRI Technologist is required and must have at least one year of experience. Strong interpersonal and communications skills required. Must be fluent in the English language.
