Live Well Homecare is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic MRI procedures, prepare meds as prescribed, and analyze imaging data. You will ensure patient safety, follow ALARA principles, and assist with interventional procedures as needed.

The role requires ARRT MR certification (or equivalent), training in Radiologic Technology, and strong proficiency in MRI protocols and patient care. Bachelor's degree is preferred for applicants.

Qualifikationen

• Certification by ARRT (R or MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB required.
• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology training program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in routine and complex MRI procedures, safety protocols, and patient care.

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, ensure patient safety, and apply ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data transfer, and assist with post-processing if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks.
• Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and perform prescribed MRI scans.
• Select suitable pulse sequences based on protocols, demonstrate proficiency in duties, and participate in quality improvement activities.

MRI Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research magnetic resonance imaging using radiofrequencies within a magnetic field. They independently conduct or assist with MRI procedures, prepare and administer medications per regulations, and analyze imaging data for diagnosis.
