Job summary

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited imaging program with MRI training.
  • ARRT (MR) and/or AMRIT certification and MRI registry within 1 year.
  • BLS certification; state license if required.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Produces high-quality diagnostic MRI images in a safe, efficient manner.
  • Completes required exams and forwards studies to radiologist for review.
  • Performs MRI procedures as directed by a licensed physician.
  • Maintains documentation and completes competency requirements during introductory period.
  • Follows established safety and regulatory guidelines; supports patient comfort and privacy.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

    • Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
    • Licensure/Certification:
      • AMRIT and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training
      • Must obtain MRI Registry within 1 year of hire.
      • BLS
      • State license if required
  • Preferred:
    • Education: Associate degree or Bachelor's degree
    • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience
    • Licensure/Certification: ARRT (MR)
