OrthoNY in Albany, NY is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform imaging procedures and contribute to high-quality patient care. You will operate MRI equipment, educate patients, and maintain safety and professionalism across all interactions.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Unrestricted NYS licensure and ARRT certification.
• ARRT MRI certification is required.
• Maintain ARRT continuing education requirements.
• Additional education in sectional anatomy is a plus.
• Experience in medical imaging.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Corroborate patient’s clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for licensed practitioners.
• Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education.
• Select and operate magnetic resonance system and related equipment.
• Maintain professionalism, compassion, and a demeanor consistent with medical ethics in all patient and team interactions.
• Recognize essential conditions for successful completion of procedure.
• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the exam.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, providers, and support staff to ensure a seamless workflow and excellent patient outcomes.
• Support clinic operations and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

  Qualifications

  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the essential functions:
  • Minimum of graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Must unrestricted NYS licensure and ARRT certification
  • Must have ARRT MRI certification
  • Current with continuing education requirements to maintain ARRT certification
  • Additional education in sectional human anatomy a plus
  • Experience in medical imaging
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  Other information:

  • Ability to travel to other OrthoNY locations if needed depending on staffing and needs. Reliable transportation is essential
