Job summary

Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Cincinnati is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The scheduled workdays are Monday to Thursday. You will perform MRI scans, screen patients, inject contrast materials as needed and manage patient flow.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, documenting findings, and coordinating with physicians and radiologists. The role requires ARRT certification and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT certified.

Responsibilities

• Attend department, clinic or company meetings as required.
• Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns.
• Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members.
• Respond to changing situations in a flexible manner to meet current needs.
• Maintain attention to detail in documentation, recording and patient information.
• Attend required annual in-service programs.
• Adhere to established facility policies and procedures.
• Perform MRI scans
• Screen patients and educate
• Ensure all forms and orders are complete
• Obtain medical history
• Inject contrast materials
• Print films for MDs and Radiologists
• Log all patients/scans/copies/readings
• Stock supplies and linens
• Maintain room cleanliness
• Interact with MDs and radiologists to ensure correct exams are completed
• Perform calibration and/or routine maintenance of scanner and processor.
