Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas (DICOT) seeks an MRI Technologist for Tomball, TX to perform high-quality MRI scans, prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, and ensure safety and comfort in an outpatient setting.

You will document exams in PACS/RIS, communicate with patients to reduce anxiety, and collaborate with radiologists to support efficient workflow while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or eligibility required.
• Experience in outpatient MRI setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Patient-focused mindset and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans following physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging quality for diagnostic accuracy.
• Educate and communicate with patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Accurately document exams and maintain records in PACS/RIS systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and team members to support efficient workflow.
• Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control procedures.
