Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas (DICOT) is seeking an accountable MRI Technologist for our Tomball outpatient clinic.

Perform high-quality MRI scans, prepare and position patients, operate MRI equipment, and monitor image quality for diagnostic accuracy while educating patients to ease anxiety.

Coordinate with radiologists and team, document exams in PACS/RIS, and uphold safety and infection control procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or eligibility required.
• Experience in outpatient MRI setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and monitor image quality for diagnostic accuracy.
• Educate patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Accurately document exams and maintain records in PACS/RIS systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and team to support efficient workflow.
