Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking an MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging within a fast-paced clinical setting. You will inform patients about the exam, position them safely, and maintain comfort throughout the procedure while adhering to all policies and protocols.

Responsibilities include administering contrast, documenting data, and delivering films/CDs to the Radiologist. Certification requirements include MRI/ARRT and CPR, with ARMRIT accepted at some locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in MRI scanning with safety considerations.
• Strong interpersonal communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Position patients for MRI and ensure comfort.
• Administer contrast when required and prepare exam data for radiologist.
• Maintain equipment and clean rooms; assist clerical staff as needed.
• Record patient data and provide films/CDs to patients or radiologists.
