Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort during exams. You will operate MRI equipment, review patient history, follow safety protocols, and document results in the EMR/PACS.

Experience in radiology and MRI training is preferred; schedule is PRN and on-site. The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and adherence to ALARA principles, with appropriate licensure and ongoing education

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MRI procedures.
• Experience in radiology preferred.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new MRI technology.

Responsibilities

• Perfom high-quality MRI examinations following physician orders.
• Position patients and ensure comfort and safety during exams.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures and safety precautions.
• Review patient history and contraindications before imaging.
• Document results in EMR and PACS.
• Maintain equipment readiness and QC checks.
