Qualifications
Demonstrated technical skills to meet entry level standards of routine Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
RT(R) licensure required, (MR) preferred.
CT State License Required.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds to assist with patient transfers.
Responsibilities
Utilizes complex MRI scanner equipment to produce quality images.
Provides compassionate patient care to ensure safety and satisfaction.
Documents all pertinent patient information accurately.
Participates in teaching opportunities for professional growth.
Screens patients for safety prior to MRI scans.
Plans and implements care for assigned patients.
Communicates effectively with patients throughout the exam.
Consults with radiologist for required exams before scanning.
Chaperones patients when necessary.
