Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical skills to meet entry level standards of routine Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• RT(R) licensure required, (MR) preferred.
• CT State License Required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds to assist with patient transfers.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes complex MRI scanner equipment to produce quality images.
• Provides compassionate patient care to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Documents all pertinent patient information accurately.
• Participates in teaching opportunities for professional growth.
• Screens patients for safety prior to MRI scans.
• Plans and implements care for assigned patients.
• Communicates effectively with patients throughout the exam.
• Consults with radiologist for required exams before scanning.
• Chaperones patients when necessary.
