Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join the MRI Feinberg team in Chicago. You will maintain patient safety, acquire diagnostic MRI images, and administer contrast per policy while adhering to safety standards.

The schedule is full-time with rotating weekends, including two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts. You will coordinate exam flow, document in EPIC/Visage, and support department goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accountability for patient safety throughout the MRI process and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality MRI images using approved protocols and standards.
• Administers contrast per policy with screening and monitoring.
• Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EPIC/Visage and charging accuracy.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program

American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification

Basic Life Support (BLS)
