Job summary

Highmark Health's Allegheny Health Network seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed imaging procedures with independence and clinical judgment. You will position patients, select exposure factors, and ensure high-quality imaging across modalities as required.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, educating patients about procedures, administering contrast when indicated, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification is required.
• MR/ARMRIT or CAMRT certification for MRI is preferred/required as stated.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures independently.
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with image quality.
• Reports scan results and educates patient on procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and monitors patient condition as needed.
