Location: AdventHealth Deland – 701 W. Plymouth Ave, Deland, FL

Role Overview

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform CT and MRI imaging procedures, assist radiologists with special procedures such as biopsies, maintain records, and support departmental functions. You will also participate in standby call and provide basic patient care within your scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and MRI imaging procedures.
• Maintain records of examinations performed.
• Obtain and document patient clinical history and explain procedures.
• Position patients and equipment to produce quality images.
• Send images to QC station, PACS, and archive systems.
• Enter patient demographic information accurately.
• Transport and position patients as needed for imaging and care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years CT/MRI experience.
• At least two years of CT experience required for entry-level MRI positions if no prior MRI experience.
• Registered in MRI or have one year of MRI experience.
• Licensure by the ARRT in MRI is required.
