Job summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a compassionate MRI Technologist to join our Fort Worth outpatient imaging center. In this part-time role, you will perform high-quality MRI examinations while delivering exceptional patient care and service.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations according to established protocols.
• Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain appropriate patient history.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam.
• Educate patients about their procedure and answer questions to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor for any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the RIS/PACS and EMR systems.
• Perform daily quality control procedures and ensure MRI equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines, infection control policies, HIPAA, OSHA, and company procedures.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, referring providers, and fellow team members to provide outstanding patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain professional competency.
