This position emphasizes quality imaging and strict adherence to MRI safety guidelines. Ideal candidates hold ARRT or ARMRIT certification with 2–3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent and 1–3 years

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required.
• 2–3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related work experience; BLS from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Administers gadolinium contrast intravenously and screens for allergies.
• Positions patient and follows exam protocols per radiologist orders.
• Enters exam data and verifies HIS/RIS entries for correct billing.
• Ensures safety by screening for ferromagnetic objects and MRI contraindications.
• Maintains clean work area and coordinates equipment readiness.
