Job summary

Summit Diagnostic Imaging Center at Wellington in Knoxville is seeking an MRI Technologist for a PRN, on-site role. You will prepare patients, perform MRI exams, and adhere to safety protocols to deliver high-quality images.

The position requires graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or MRI program, ARRT MRI registration or eligibility within six months, and BLS certification. MRI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• Registered, or registry eligible within six months, in MRI by ARRT; BLS certification.
• Preferably 12 months of MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for MRI scans and ensure safety protocols.
• Collect patient history and relay to radiologist for care planning.
• Position patients and obtain consent forms as needed.
• Maintain equipment logs and image quality reviews.
