Job summary

UCI Health is recruiting a MRI Technologist to perform basic and advanced MRI procedures. The role requires flexibility for shifts, on-call rotations, and potential work in ambulatory clinics.

The ideal candidate has MRI training or Advanced Specialty Certification and must obtain certification within six months of hire. This on-site position supports the university medical center in Orange County, CA.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends, holidays and overtime as assigned.
• Must be able to participate in on call rotation and work occasional weekends & evenings.
• May be assigned to work in ambulatory clinics.
• Advanced Specialty Certification OR Graduate from an accredited school of MRI—must obtain Advanced Specialty certification within 6 months of hire date.
• ARRT license/certification within six (6) months from date of hire
• Venipuncture Certificate
• Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• The MRI Technologist performs the full range of basic and advanced level procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
• The technologist acts as resources to others as needed, and is required to be on-call basis and work varied shifts as assigned.
