Job summary

University of California, Irvine Health seeks an MRI Technologist to perform a full range of basic and advanced MRI procedures. The role includes acting as a resource to others and participating in on-call rotations with varied shifts.

Successful candidates will hold or be pursuing Advanced Specialty Certification and must obtain it within 6 months of hire. Opportunities exist across a leading academic health system in Orange County.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends, holidays and overtime as assigned.
• Must participate in on-call rotation and work occasional weekends & evenings.
• May be assigned to work in ambulatory clinics.
• Advanced Specialty Certification OR Graduate from an accredited school of MRI—must obtain Advanced Specialty certification within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to advanced MRI procedures and ensure high-quality imaging.
• Serve as a resource to colleagues as needed and participate in on-call rotations.
• Contribute to patient care in the MRI department and work varied shifts as assigned.
