Job summary

UCI Health's Radiology team seeks an MRI Technologist to perform the full range of MRI procedures, from basic to advanced levels, and to serve as a resource for colleagues. The role requires on-call duties and varied shifts as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have MRI certification and be prepared to obtain Advanced Specialty certification within six months; ARRT certification within six months is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends, holidays and overtime as assigned.
• Must participate in on-call rotation and work occasional weekends & evenings.
• May be assigned to work in ambulatory clinics.
• Advanced Specialty Certification OR Graduate from an accredited school of MRI—must obtain Advanced Specialty certification within 6 months of hire date.
• ARRT license/certification within six (6) months from date of hire (preferred)

Responsibilities

• The MRI Technologist performs the full range of basic and advanced level procedures in MRI.
• Acts as resources to others as needed.
• Required to be on-call and work varied shifts as assigned.
